Setting the surcharge
The previous week’s diesel price is decisive
We normally set the fuel surcharge on a monthly basis. Due to tensions in the Middle East and the resulting volatility in fuel prices, we are currently required to update it weekly.
The fuel surcharge for a given week is always based on the average diesel price from the previous week. The price in week 33 therefore determines the surcharge for week 34.
